kat weingarten
I’m a Schoharie County local, nature-lover, and believer in the beauty of everyday moments. My work is rooted in the idea that connection is everything. Between parents and children, between partners, and between people and the landscape around them.
Whether we’re exploring a field at golden hour or cozied up in your home, I’m here to guide you gently, help you feel comfortable and create images that feel like memories, not performances.
A Few Things I Believe:
• Kids shouldn’t have to sit still to be photographed
• Parents deserve to be in the frame, too
• Nature is the most beautiful backdrop
• Real moments are far better than perfect ones

Katerina Weingarten at Mosaic Mountain Stories should be your new photographer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
She fit our session in before a wedding she was shooting in the afternoon when I requested a date change at the last minute. She hiked with us and the dogs at 6am to get the view from Vroman's Nose, only for it to be rainy, cloudy, and no view, but still captured everything without a flaw. She knew how I felt about certain poses and was conscious of that the whole time 🫶. Kat was even a miracle worker and held onto the dogs while taking our photo because they were actin' a fool. 1000/10 🩷
